A quick weekend in Miami brought back some great memories from my college days in Florida. While out there, I had the pleasure of meeting Laura and Hassan and photographing their wedding. This amazing couple invited folks from all over the US and abroad for their marriage celebration which was held in the backyard of a bayside beach house. With great food, live music and beautiful guests alike, this wedding goes down in history as an instant classic. Thank you Tianna for making this happen and shooting this wedding with me! King & Queen

Every once in a while I have an opportunity to work with close friends of mine. Sometimes it can get complicated and other times the chemistry is flawless. I first started working with this couple when the bride to be Brandi shared her fashion designs with me and asked if I would photograph them for her website. After taking one look at her shredz, I couldn’t wait to grab my camera and get busy. Shortly after the fashion stuff, they got engaged (in which I was hiding in the bushes with my TMZ lens) and naturally we ended up discussing their wedding ideas. These two remind me of why I do what I do. It’s all about the LOVE! Here are some favorites from their engagement session along with a couple of the proposal photos.

Fearless!

With so much style, courage and attitude, this 5 year old angel seemed to be at home in front of the camera. It took about 10 minutes to break the ice and the rest was history. She gave me so much personality that the shoot only lasted a half an hour. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see her on the big screen one day soon! Here are a few of my favs from the shoot.

Groovy!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this kid ever since he was born, through his 1st birthday. He seemed to recognize me a little bit more each time we met and during his last session, he let it all out! JT the 3rd is gonna be a lot of fun for his family and friends for years to come and I can’t wait until we get him back in the lab for some more shots! After he claimed my blackberry and had a little spat with his favorite cousin, we were able to get some good shots in. Here are some of my favs…

The best of 2009!

2009 started off with a trip to Washington DC to document the historic inauguration of our 44th president. I met up with some friends and together we walked the streets of our nations capitol trying to get as close as possible to the action. It was definitely an experience I will never forget. 09 continued with several engagements and weddings to follow. I caught up with a bunch of old college friends and saw plenty of new faces, photographing their loved ones unite. I also had an opportunity to get in front of a few celebs, athletes, politicians and best of all…children. 09 was a great year for photography.
